Metaphor is pleased to be going to the Scope Hamptons Fair in July,
2005, with featured artist Fay Ku. The venue is Hampton
Hall located at 230 Elm Street, Southampton, NY
Born
in Taiwan, Fay Ku literally draws on her personal and cultural
history, creating large scale drawings and paintings on paper that
juxtapose delicate touch with narrative insight. Her elegant line
and seductive patterning refer directly to traditional Asian art,
while her sharply focused subject matter subverts any decorative
connotations to pack a psychological punch.
